Guillaume Blanchard was born about 1690 in Port Royal, Acadia. His parents were Guillaume Blanchard and Huguette Gougeon. He was age 3 on the 1693 census of Port Royal.
He married Jeanne Dupuis, daughter of the late Pierre Dupuis and Magdelaine Landry, all of Port Royal, 16 January 1714 at Port Royal. The groom signed as did Pierre Lanoue.[1][2]

Guillaume Blanchard, husband of Jeanne Dupuis passed away in Feb 1752. aged about 50 years and was buried on February 20, 1752 in Annapolis Royal, Colony of Nova Scotia.[3]
