Note: Sisters:Nancy, Addie, Myrtle. 2 She was strict and a Baptist., Charlie Bland, brother. 2 She had 3 kids, died at birth. _________________________________ Lucie Walters Stricken. 2 Mrs. Lucie Belle Walters, 78, widow of Sampson Walters, died at the county hospital. Mrs. Walters, who had lived at 318 Smith street, had been in failing health for some time, and was moved to the hospital a week ago. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at Reed funeral home, conducted by the Rev. William Amerson. Burial will be at Garland Brook cemetery. The casket will be open at the funeral home afternoon, Monday. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William Bishop of Jewell Village, six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters and her husband who died in Oct 1937. Mrs. Walters was born Nov. 14, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bland, in Jackson county near Brownstown. She had lived most of her married life in Columbus and was a member of the East Columbus Methodist church. 2 2 Found in Jackson County a marriage license for William D. Bland married a Sarah F.
