Biography

Pearl was born 5 May 1912 in New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas, Ohio. She was the daughter of Albert Bland and Elizabeth Schaffer.^[1]

In 1920 she was living in Tuscarawas, Ohio.^[2] The household included Albert E Bland age 52, wife Elizabeth Bland age 42, son Albert A Bland age 15, daughter Verna E Bland age 13, son Robert W Bland age 9, daughter Pearl M Bland age 7, daughter Bessie V Bland age 5 and granddaughter Helen M Legg age 4. All were born in Ohio except Albert born in Kansas. Albert was a teamster for a coal mine. Son Albert was a laborer at an enameling works.

In 1930 she was living in New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas, Ohio.^[3] The household included Albert E Bland age 62, wife Elizabeth Bland age 52, daughter Katherine Livesay age 30, daughter Pearl Bland age 17, daughter Bessie Bland age 15, granddaughter Helen Legg age 14 and granddaughter Ruth Legg age 11. All were born in Ohio except Albert born in Kansas. Albert was a teamster for a lumber company. Katherine and Pearl were both salesladies for a dry goods store.

In 1940 she was living in Sugarcreek Village, Sugarcreek Township, Tuscarawas, Ohio.^[4] The household included John Stucky age 30 born in Ohio, wife Pearl Stucky age 26 born in Ohio and son John Stucky age 4 born in West Virginia. John was a trucker, working for himself.

Pearl Bland and John Stucky were married 31 Mar 1934 in Wellsburg, West Virginia.^[5]

She died 5 Sep 1969 in Massillon, Stark, Ohio.^[6][7]

She is buried in Evergreen Burial Park, New Philadelphia, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.^[8]
