Biography

Edward was born in 1772. He worked as a blacksmith, as did at least one of his brothers (Robert). Perhaps they both learned it from their father.

Edward was estate administrator for his brother William. Edward and his wife Margaret also cared for William's orphaned infant son Edward, and in addition had ten known children.

Their nephew Edward subsequently married their daughter Mary.

Edward passed away in 1828.
