Edith Blankenship was born in 1766 in Campbell, Colony of Virginia, daughter of Hudson Blankenship (1735–1812) and Edith Wilkinson (~1740–1826).

to unravel this mystery we have to go back further. Edith Blankinship (born to Hudson Blankinship and Edith Wilinson) obviously married a cousin of some sort. Hudson had a brother Isham so I will start there.
