1810 United States Federal Census Record of Floyd County, Kentucky[4]
Research Notes: Per the National Archives, the official census enumeration date that the 1810 census was taken was 6 August 1810. Simeon Justice stated that he married William BLANKENSHIP on 16 August 1810 in Floyd County to unnamed bride.[2] Upon further research of the census record it appears that the census schedule was finished on 24 December 1810.[5] Since the official census date was only 10 days prior to the marriage, it is probable that the mistake in household was due to a census enumeration after the official census date.
