Biography

The 1935 South Dakota state census shows that George Blare, age 26, was born in Illinois, both of his parents were born in West Virginia, he worked in trucking and was married in 1928 to a woman whose maiden name was Sullivan. [1] (By comparison, the census record for Edith Blare says the marriage was 1926.[2] The 1945 state census is consistent with the exception that he was married in 1936 to Martha Hahn. [3]

In 1956 George visited Brazil. His tourist visa has his photo and signature, along with birth information, include both parents names. [4]
