Mrs. Ethel Pauline Bleakney Beatty, 72, of Elderton,died Sunday, Aug. 9,�1970, at 9:15 P.M. in the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.�A daughter of William Curtis and Millie Hall Bleakney, she was born Aug.�5, 1898 at Plumcreek Township, Armstrong County. She had been a resident of�the Elderton area her entire life.. and was a former school teacher in Plum�Creek Township.�Mrs. Beatty was a member of the Elderton United Presbyterian Church, andSilver Star Rebekah Lodge No. 67.�Surviving are a brother, Curtis FrankBleakney, Shelocta, R.D.1;; three�sisters, Mrs. Harry N. (Ruth) Montgomery, Rural Valley; Mrs. Mildred Baker,�Kittanning; Mrs. Kenneth ( Martha ) Aikens, Shelocta, R.D.�She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Beatty in 1953; twobrothers, Homer and Earl Bleakney, and a sister, Francis Bleakney Williams.�Friends will be received from 7-9 pm today, and 7-9 pm Tuesday at the�Clark FuneralHome, Elderton, where services will be conducted Wednesday at 2�pm, with the Rev. W. Allen Shannon officiating. Interment will be made in the�Elderton Cemetery.
