Biography
Roswell was the son of Thomas and Edmonia Bledsoe. He was born in July 1888. Roswell's father passed away when Roswell was only one month old. At the age of 21, Roswell worked as a clerk for a shoe manufacturer in Lexington, Virginia (1910 census). He moved from there to Frankford, West Virginia.
