Mary (Polly) Blevins was born about 1805 in North Carolina.[1]The death certificate of her daughter, Elizabeth (Honeycutt) Hughes, gives her maiden name as Blevins.[2]
She married Aaron Honeycutt about 1822, based on the birthdate of their oldest known child.[3]
Aaron died between 1837 and 1840, leaving Polly a widow with five children.[4]
