James was preceded in death by his wife: Fannie Mae Burchett Blevins, whom he married May 5, 1936 in Louisa, KY, and one son: Randy Blevins. He was a retired coal miner. He is survived by his mother: Arizona Clark Blevins of Paintsville, KY, three sisters: Betty Haight and Elva Dutton of Paintsville, KY, and Martha Cupoli, of Hiliard, OH, five sons: James "David" (Mary) Blevins of Boons Camp, KY, Michael Gene (Patricia) Blevins of Wheelersburg, OH, Jimmy Dean (Rosie) Blevins, Ronnie Eugene (Jennifer) Blevins, Anthony Wayne (Norma) Blevins and Robert Nichol (Opal) Blevins, all of Ulysses, KY, two daughters: Barbara Ellen Howard of Louisa, KY, and Tammy Sue (Lonnie) Cavins of Ulysses, KY, a host of beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many loving neices and nephews. Funeral service will be held at the Walnut Grove FWB Church in Ulysses, KY with burial to follow at the Stevens Cemetery in Lowmansville, KY.
