Married Jane Kingsley (1835-1910) on 26 August 1849 in Racine, Wisconsin.

The Cornelius Blish family resided in the SW corner of Summit Township. Source: Wisconsin State Atlas 1870, County Histories, page 217 ... "Elias Kingsley, C. Blish and Alex. Noble, are due the credit of being the first settlers in the town of Summit, they dating their residence in the county (Juneau) from 1852. (Son, Charles Sumner Blish died in Brown County, South Dakota on 28 May 1949)"...
