Eunice, b. Feb. 5, 1769; d. April 16, 1851 ; m. 1791, Dr. Richard Ely. [1]
Dr. Richard Ely commenced practice in North Killingworth, Conn . , where he resided several years. September 4th, 1791, he was married to Eunice Bliss, daughter of Oliver Bliss, of North Wilbraham, Mass. His two eldest children were born in North Killingworth. He removed to North Wilbraham, where he remained but a year , owing to the state of his health. This was greatly regretted, not only by himself but by the people, who declared it was the greatest loss with which they ever met. He practiced his profession in Centre Brook until about 1805, when he removed to another society of the town of Saybrook, called Chester. (History of the Ely Re-union, Held at Lyme, Conn...)
