Biography
George was born about 1690 (recorded as 25 October 16__ at Newport, Rhode Island, with twin sister Marcy), the son of John Bliss and Damaris Arnold.[1][2]
George married Sarah Turner by 1717.[3] Children:[2]

- William b. ca. 1718
- John b. 17 March 1720
- Patience b. 1732; d. unmarried, 28 October 1809
- Phebe b. 1733; d. unmarried, 2 January 1809
He may be the George Bliss recorded in a mortality table at Newport on 28 February 1762, age at death 73.[4]
