Bertina Blom was born on 13 May 1904 in Utrecht, Utrecht, Nederland. She was the daughter of Josua Blom and Rebecca Blom.[1]

Bertina married Jacques Harschel on 16 Feb 1927 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Nederland. He was the son of Meijer Nathan Harschel and Clara Clarenburg.[2]

Bertina, her husband Jacques, and their two children Betty and Carla Helena were deported to Auschwitz extermination camp in 1942, where they were all murdered on the same day.

Bertina Harschel-Blom died at the age of 38 years old on 13 Nov 1942 in Oświęcim, Małopolskie, Polen.[1]
