David was the son of John & Joanna (Nutting) Blood

He married Abigail Farnsworth, daughter of Ebenezer & Elizabeth (Whitney) Farnsworth, on 1 May 1740 in MA - their children were David, Jonathan, Joshua, Lydia, Abigail, Mary, Ruth, John, Isaac & Nathan
