Edward was born in 1910 in Cove, Oregon.[1]Tragically, Edward's father Will died on February 1, 1917 in Cove, Oregon and is buried there. He left Cora to raise their young family on her own. Will was 52.[2]
Edward was thirty years old and still single in 1940. He lived in Silver Pine, Nevada and made his living as an assayer in the field of Placer Mining. [3] He registered for the draft in October of 1940 in Denver, Colorado. It appears that he did serve his country.[4]
He married Barbara May Phelps on June 19, 1953.
He died on September 10, 1999 and is buried in Cove, Union, Oregon with his wife.[5][6]
