Biography

Hilda May Bloomfield was born in 1892 in Weeley, Essex, England to Frederick Bloomfield and Rosetta (Punchard) Bloomfield. Her birth was registered in Tendring, Essex in the third quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Punshard [Punchard].^[1]

In 1901 Hilda Bloomfield (age 8) lived at Merewood Lane in Ardleigh, Essex with her father Frederick (46, Horseman on Farm), mother Rosetta (44), and four older siblings: Jane A (23), William (21, Ag Lab), John (16, Ag Lab), and Rosetta (11).^[2]

In 1911 Hilda Blomfield (age 19, Servant) lived in Colchester, Essex in the household of her employer Anne Munes Mason.^[3]
