Private Daniel (Blose) Bloss served with Pennsylvania Militia during the American Revolution.

Daniel (Blose) Bloss is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A011465.

When Daniel Blose was born about 1745 to 1752 1752, his father, Conrad, was 26 and his mother, Anna, was 32. He married Sarah Elizabeth Brazil or Brissel in 1774 in Northampton, Pennsylvania. They had nine children in 50 years. He died on March 15, 1803, at the age of 51.

Daniel Blose alias Bloss served as a private soldier in the Revolutionary war, 5th Company, 3rd Class, Northampton. [1] [2]

Colonial records indicate he had a grist mill, 50 acres of land, 1 horse and 1 cow. He moved to Westmoreland, PA in 1780. In 1785, he owned 176 acres of land in Westmoreland, PA as of June 20,1809.

Buried in churchyard of Denmark Manor Evangelical Lutheran & Reformed Church.
