George Blount was born about 1630 in County Kildare, Ireland. He was the eldest son and heir of Edward Blount and Eleanor Borrowes.
George married Sarah Vincent, daughter of Thomas Vincent in 1660. [1]
George Blount made his will at Bolton dated 20 May 1674 and proved on 7 April 1677. Betham's abstract of the will and probate record of George Blount reads:
George Blount of Bolton in Co Kildare Esq, (will) 20 May 1674 (proved) 7 April 1677; Sisters Thomasine, Elizabeth, Sarah, Catharine, Mary, Jane; Ex'r Sarah B(lount) his widow. (Includes a rough sketch of Blount arms) [2]
They do not appear to have had any children/ surviving children. His widow Sarah remarried in 1679 to Periam Pole
