Biography

Harley A. Blount was born January 27, 1915 in Pennsylvania to John and Sada (Quance) Blount.

In the 1920 U.S. Census, Harley at age 4, is listed with his parents and four older siblings living on South Hill Road in McKean Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania.^[1]

The 1930 U.S. Census has Harley at age 13 still living in Erie County, Pennsylvania with his parents and three older brothers.^[2]

Harley married Margaret Louise Bolte on July 27, 1938 in Erie County, Pennsylvania. Margaret was the daughter of Fred J. and Louise M. (Grossholz) Bolte.^[3]

For the 1940 U.S. Census, Harley is shown living with his wife Louise, his father now widowed, and an infant sister in Middleboro, McKean Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania. Harley was now 24 working as a shipping clerk.^[4]

Harley A. Blount died in November of 1979 and was buried at Valley Cemetery in McKean, Erie County, Pennsylvania.^[5][6]
