Biography

Alice was the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Frost) Blower, born in England.[1]; she may have had two brothers who came to New England, and her father certainly came to New England in 1635, but apparently died soon after. Her mother, Alice Frost, was sister to Tomasine Frost, who married Edmund Rice, immigrant to Sudbury, and also of Elizabeth Frost, who married first Henry Rice and then Philemon Whale, the latter also an immigrant to Sudbury.[2]

Alice married Richard Brackett in the church of St. Katherine by the Tower, London, England on January 1633-4. Richard had returned from Massachusetts Bay to marry her, and took her with him back to Boston by 1635.[3]

Alice died in Braintree on Nov. 3, 1690[4]

Unknown-318593 and Blower-9 appear to represent the same person because: As with her husband Richard, These profiles have about the same birth date, same husband (albeit different profile), same son (again, different profile, ) about the same death date and location. Unknown's profiles suggests that her last name at birth may be Blower. -9 has far more facts and support, but It's the same person. please merge. This is part of a series of necessary merges of a Bracket profile with a Brackett profile of the same people., going down at least three generations; I will propose the other necessary merges. The Brackett spelling seems predominant, and is the spelling used for this person in Anderson's "The Great Migration Directory", so -42 should be merged into -20 as proposed.

Alice is 24 degrees from Lizzie Griffiths, 16 degrees from Fred Rogers and 10 degrees from Henry VIII of England on our single family tree. Login to find your connection.
