Biography

C.G. Blue was married to Minnie Smith, the daughter of Matthew Castle Pinkney M.C.P. Smith. He is buried in Old Shady Grove Cemetery and died after 1900 and before 1910. They lived in the Arbor Community and their son, Daniel Bryan Blue died at about the age of 1 year old, and is buried in Old Shady Grove Cemetery. C. G. Blue could be buried here also next to his son because the new Shady Grove Cemetery was not a community cemetery before about 1912. there are many unmarked graves and many marked with petrified wood.
