Michael Blue served with 2nd Battalion, Somerset County Militia, New Jersey Militia during the American Revolution.

Michael (or Magiel) Blaaw/Blaw/Blue (or other variations) was born in 1750 in New Jersey. He married Mary Stout about 1773 and died in New Jersey in 1787.

Based on information from the National Blue Family Association (www.bluefamily.org), I think Michael Blue (Blue-1216) is the eldest son of John Blau (Blau-251).
