John Blue Jr. served as a private in the Virginia Militia until 1780 when he was drafted into the regular army. Then he made captain in Virginia.
In the 1790 census, John was in Somerset County, New Jersey.[1]
In the 1810 census, John was in Hampshire, Virginia, United States.[2]
John died in 1826 and was buried in Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney, Hampshire County, West Virginia, United States.[3]
