When Ramos 'Roma' Blue was born on December 5, 1897, in Scotland, Arkansas, his father, John, was 26 and his mother, Martha, was 21. He married Dora Elizabeth McNabb on March 9, 1919. He died on November 9, 1988, in Fresno, California, at the age of 90, and was buried there.
