4th Baronet Blunden, of Blunden Castle, doctor, of Temuka, New Zealand.
He went to Trinity College, Dublin, where he took his degree in arts.
He went to New Zealand.
In 1879 at Te Henui Church, New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand, he married Florence Caroline Shuttleworth, daughter of Henry Shuttleworth, of New Plymouth, and they had two sons and a daughter.
In 1890 he succeeded his father as 4th Baronet Blunden, and later with his wife and three children returned to Ireland.
In 1904 he was High Sheriff of Kilkenny.
He died on 25 October 1923, aged 83, and was succeeded by his son John Blunden, 5th Baronet, who died three days after him.
