Hello Jackson,

I see you are interested in the Bragg family and I wanted to let you know that I have just started a new One Name Study on the Bragg Surname. I would love to have you come work with me to flesh out the Bragg family stories! Here is the link to the project page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Bragg_Name_Study

Let me know if you have any questions!

Cheers, Kelly - Bragg Project Coordinator

Thanks for the speedy reply!

I've found a match between us! My grandfather was Joseph Francis Lachcik, brother of the John who was married to Betty.

I'm quite new to this site, so give me a bit of time (tonight?) to upload my GEDCOM and see how we can share data.

Hi...thank you for your welcome. I do not find these names in my tree. My paternal great-great grandfather was Basile Menard B:1823 D:?. He was the son of Francois-Augutin Menard and Justine Henriette Sequin. We must match up through another branch.

Hey Jackson,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

HI jack, You have it. Click on the reverse and it will come up reversed. You can then proceed if everything looks fine to you. You can just go back if it dosn't look correct.

Hope this helps, Darrell

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. You are now a member of the WikiTree community.

Please note we are trying to build one collaborative tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the Help section or head over to the G2G forum. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)

I have been searching my family's history for over 30 years, yet still consider myself a novice. I hope that Wiki will help to add to my tree, and I hope that my work can help others to further complete theirs.

Hi Jackson, I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.

The help pages give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'

. . .and I see where you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.
