Catherine Bly, daughter of Levi Bly and Franey Rosenberger was born soon after the family moved to the Strasburg area and was baptized in the Lutheran Church in Strasburg. After the Civil War she met and married George B. Lynn, who had served in the same unit of the Confederate Army during the war with her brothers, Mason and Richard. She died at Green Spring, Frederick County, Virginia, "after long suffering."[1]
