Jerry was born in 1947. He was the son of Harkie Boblett and Flossie Bird. He passed away in 1996.

• Jerry Allen Boblett, 48, died Saturday, March 30, 1996 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. A native of Washington County, he was born on July 21, 1947 to the late Hark and Flossie Byrd Boblett. He was a truck driver for Blue Grass Trucking company and a member of the Trinity Tabernacle Church of Danville. Survivors include: his wife, Thelma Smothers Boblett, Burgin, four sons, Rex Boblett and Jerry Lee Boblett, both of Lawrenceburg, Chad Boblett, Harrodsburg and Paul Boblett, Burgin; two daughters, Mrs. Chris (Margaret) Holt and Lisa Burns, both of Lawrenceburg, one step son, Joshua Smothers, Burgin; four grandchildren, one step-grandson; one sister, Mrs. James (Devola) Whitehead, Murfreesboro, TN. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Gene Boblett and a step son, Anthony Vaughn Smothers. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 2, at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Henry Tindle of Louisville, officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Charles White, pastor of the Trinity Tabernacle, Burial was in the church cemetery.
