When Thomas Maylon Bobo was born in 1819 in Elbert, Georgia, his father, Burrell, was 36 and his mother, Susannah, was 27. He married Louisa Hudson Crump on April 4, 1843, in his hometown. They had 11 children in 26 years. He died on May 9, 1889, in Hartwell, Georgia, at the age of 70.
