Alvin Bocage, son of Joseph Bocage, was born in 1912.^[1]

He married his first wife, Iona Tucker on 10 Dec 1928.^[2] Since Eddie Bo was born in 1930, Iona is probably Eddie's mother. Alvin married his second wife, Ethel Brown on 28 Oct 1936. His parents were listed as Joseph and Elizabeth Bocage; her parents were Elzie and Hattie Brown. ^[3]

Alvin died in 1977.^[4]
