Betty Bint writes in her research 1987: A tall stone at the top of the steps at St John's cemetery in Wakefield (New Zealand). It should have also be recorded that Robert Boddington, husband of Ann, died 1894. A few years ago it was realised that he was unrecorded and in recognition of his services to Wakefield and the establishment of St John's a plaque has been placed in the church. They lived in Wakefield on the Main Road opposite Mr Ross Higgins.
