[In the ordinary way. the executor of a will swears on oath to perform etc. but Quakers refuse to swear, and are allowed to affirm]. To wife Mary freehold messuage cottages closes and lands in Greens Norton and Silverstone, for life, then To son William, house in Greens Norton where he now dwells with the appurtenances as far as the malthouse end, also the barn and upper end of garden that formerly belonged to the house I live in, as far as the rails etc.etc. charged with the payment of £10 to my two youngest daughters Ann and Lydia at 21. To son John the house I live in etc. (a brick-kiln mentioned) To daughter Alice Lee a cottage etc. at Silverstone. Four youngest daughters Mary, Sarah, Ann, Lydia mentioned.
