Samuel Bodley was born in Northamptonshire, England.
Samuel was born about 1801 in Northamptonshire, England.
He married Martha Green in 1821 in Welford, Northamptonshire.[1] In 1841 the family lived in Lutterworth, Leicestershire. Samuel was a shoe maker.[2] By 1851 they lived at 50 Devonshire Street, Leicester, Leicestershire.[3] Martha died in Leicester in 1854.[4]
In 1861 Samuel lived at Court 3 House 2 on Bond Street in Coventry, Warwickshire.[5] He died in 1870[6] in Coventry.
Research notes
On the 1851 census Samuel was said to have been born in Northampton. I can't find any baptism record for him... where was he from? Other Bodleys seem to have been from the south of the county around Greens Norton. Fuller-8857 09:16, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
