Event: San Antonio Express News. Obit 15 JUN 2007. Note: Selma Sally Boer Bayer passed peacefully at her home in San Antonio on Wednesday, June 13, 2007. Sally was born on March 1, 1914 to Selma Hilbig and Joseph M. Boer in Rockne, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Bayer; daughter, Lora Ellen Bayer; granddaughter Mary Bayer. She is survived by her children: Mary Ann Lutz (Louis), Pauline Bauml (Thomas), Agnes Bayer (Greg Elmendorf), Josephine Cvetovich (Nick), Selma Bayer (Flores-Amaya), Katherine Hess (Paul), Christine Luter, Buddy Bayer (Denise) and Lisa Perez (Mike); 32 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2007 at Roy Akers-Zizik Kearns Funeral Chapels with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 16, 2007 at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
