Biography
Theodorus Louis Bogaardt is geboren op 2 juli 1864 in Semarang, Nederlands-Indië, als zoon van Charles Bogaardt en Elise Tremio. Hij was ambtenaar bij het Binnenlands Bestuur. Aan de publicaties in de kranten (zie Images) is goed te volgen hoe hij geleidelijk opklom van 2e Commies tot Assistent-Resident van Sampang (Madoera).
Hij was ook actief bij de schutterij te Batavia[1], laatstelijk in de rang van 2e luitenant bij de compagnieën.
Theodorus Louis Bogaardt trouwde (1) op 24 Sep 1891 Engelbertina Maria Holdert.[2] Zij hadden zich op 3 januari 1891 verloofd. Uit dit huwelijk twee kinderen.
Theodorus Louis Bogaardt trouwde (2) Maria of Mary de Lange op 27 Apr 1914 te Kraksaän.[3] Zij lijkt - na zijn overlijden - hertrouwd te zijn met J. Krijgsman op 4 mei 1923 te Malang, maar het is onzeker of dit dezelfde persoon betreft.[4]
Theodorus Louis Bogaardt is overleden op 11 oktober 1921, hij was toen 57 jaar oud.[5]
