What is the source of the information that Claes was born about 16 Mar 1666? This looks as if it might be a baptism date. Did it come from a difficult-to-locate baptism record or a family Bible or some other source. If it is accurate and represents either the date of baptism or date of birth, it casts doubt on the estimated year of birth for Claes' sister Grietje (currently estimated as 1666). Would be nice to know the source of Claes' birth information so it would be possible to make better-informed guesses about the birth dates for both Claes and his sister Grietje. Thanks to anyone who can clarify and document the source for the information.

Given the birth dates of the children of the two listed marriages, it would appear that there are two men conflated in this profile.

I see what you mean! It's unfortunate that the "source" cited for most of the children's births is a bad URL. It may take some effort to track down the actual records.

I’m finding that ALL the (female) children born after 1705 are children of Grietje Conselje.

Does anyone else find that?

Without church or other records for the later children, it's hard to say.

Please add Hendrick Bogart as son of Claes Janszen Bogaert. Son is already mentioned in this profile. Thanks.
