Uncertain Family

Tysje has no known connection to the family of Gysbert Teunis Bogaert. She is believed to be the daughter of Gysbert Cornelisz Uytden Bogaert, who had connections with Helmer Jansse (Jeralemon) and Antje, who appear at the baptism of Tysje's first child. --Carrie Quackenbush at 09:45, 15 August 2017.

Bogaart-37 and Bogart-65 appear to represent the same person because: two duplicate parents of duplicate children. Sketchy evidence for Bogart-65's parents should not prevent Bogaart-37's merge into Bogart-65

There are several "Jan Dekker/Decker"

Jan Dekker bapt.Kingston 28 Sept. 1679 is the candidate to marr. to Tysje Bogaert. Jan Gerritsen Decker was bapt.28 Jul. 1688 in Kingston to Gerrit Jansen Dekker and Griethje Dekker. He marr. ab. 1711 Barber de Wit and had children Zara 1712,Gerrit 1716, Jan 1719, Elisabeth 1724 and Lucas 1727. And to make it REAL interesting there is Jan Dekker marr. 1 July 1722 Hilletje Kwik in Kingston and had "Zara" 30 June 1723.

It would be good if somebody sorts out the Dekker families.? PS Athens Zion church has no records for 1685 they start in 1703. Tysje is a Dutch female name for Tys/Matthys (Matthew) not a nickname.

Bogart-569 and Bogart-65 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge. No tree conflicts. Add nickname Tysjie. Thanks!
