Hello! I am trying to determine my most recent common ancestor or familial line going through the ancient kingdom of Dal Riata. I have some snp information but havent done a Y500 big test yet. I am looking between the years 460 and 1200.
DAL_RIADA
I have details that provide possible matches and link to a handful of people, would like to review them with someone else - HOPEFULLY descended from an Ionan Abbot/Abbess, preferably with gaelic noble descent as we may be able to test our genetic markers for a MRCA. Even better if you can trace ancestry to the septs of Cenel Connail or Cenel Eogain. This could be from an Abbot/Abbess of Celtic descent in France, Germany, Spain(Basque), Scotland, Ireland, or any catholic gaelic families in thos
GAELIC
Gaelic-Pictish, not Norse-Gael or Brythonnic Celt. Certainly not Gaul.
