Nancy Jane "Jenny" "Jennie" Boggs was born December 26, 1801, in Nicholas County, West Virginia. She Married Jacob Stump on the Marriage license is dated January 6, 1817, and the marriage occurred January 10, 1817. January 30, 1817, in Harrison County, West Virginia. Together they had the following children Isabel 1814-1820, Lemuel "Major" 1820-1891, Lucinda "Hannah" 1822-1902, Susannah 1824-1905, Cynthia 1825 to unknown, Isabel 1826-1888, Drusilla 1829-1893, Salathiel 1832-1909, Melville 1834-1919, Henson T. 1837-1894, Bailey 1839-1881, Jacob 1840 to unknown, and Ruhama 1842-1885. Nancy Jane "Jenny" Boggs was the daughter of John and Nancy Annah Lemasters Boggs; and granddaughter of Charles Francis and Mary Rebecca Clendenin Boggs of Greenbrier County VA, and Benjamin and Rebecca Ann Martin Lemasters (aka Lamastres) of Nicholas County VA. She was named for her Aunt Jennie Lemasters Boggs, who was her mother's sister and the wife of her father's brother, Charles Clendenin Boggs. Aunt Jennie and Uncle Charles were buried at Boggs Cemetery, Linden, Roane County WV.
She was born in that part of Kanawha County VA which later became Nicholas County WV. She married Jacob Stump on 10 JAN 1817, in Harrison County VA. They lived in that part of Virginia which later became Gilmer County WV. She was widowed at age 57, but she never remarried.
She is buried in the Jacob Stump Cemetery, Stumptown, Gilmer County, WV per Find A Grave.
