Biography

Samuel was born about 1801. He was the son of Charles Boggs and Mary Fraser.

He married Anne Currie.

In 1838, Samuel, library, Halifax was listed with a family consisting of 1 male child under six years of age [Charles], 2 female children under six years of age [Bessie, Rebecca], 3 females above fourteen years of age [Anne, his wife, prob. Anne Currie, his mother-in-law, ?], total 7 in family including himself.

He passed away 17 Aug 1866 and is buried in the Camp Hill Cemetery, Halifax. The 18 Aug 1866 edition of the Presbyterian Witness reported: “Samuel Boggs, d. Wed, s/o late Charles Boggs, in 65th year.”^[1]

3. Rebecca, b. 9 Mar 1838, m. 22 Jan 1867 in Halifax, Edwin Collins Fairbanks.
