Biography

William Boggs born in the North of Ireland, 1716; removed to America about 1728 and afterward (about 1781) settled in Chester County, Pennsylvania .[1][2]

He married Jane Stein, a native of Ireland, in 1733. She was born about 1716 in Ulster, Ireland and died in 1810 Chester County, Pennsylvania.[2]

  3. Margaret born February 23, 1739, relict of James Johnston.
  4. Robert born April 9, 1741,
  5. William born March 14, 1743, -1836. Took over the William Boggs Farm [3]

  7. Elizabeth born July 31, 1747,
  8. Rebecca born January 31, 1749,
  9. Agnes born February 17, 1752,
  10. Mary born May 24, 1753,
  11. Joseph October 1, 1754
  12. Moses born May 6, 1757.

After the Revolutionary War, William and Jane then removed to and settled in Fallowfield Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania around 1781.[2][4]

William passed away in about 1786 in Octoraro, Highland Tw, Chester County, Pennsylvania. William has a Memorial on Find A Grave Specifically to share his Will. (See Image attached herewith) He was said to be interred in the Upper Octorara Church Cemetery, Parkesburg, Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA, on the New Side of Graveyard, at Highland Township, Upper Octorara Church Cemetery, Parkersburg, Chester County, Pennsylvania. William who married Stein comes from BY3354 DNA Stream and his parentage is uncertain at this time. The oldest known Male of this DNA line was Ezekial of DE b.~1707.
