Ann Mary Boggs Rothermel was born August 4, 1823, in Mount Joy, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, to Alexander Boggs 1774-1855 and Magdalena Sheaffer Boggs 1783-1889. She married William A Rothermel 1821*-1891 in 1842. They had children, William Jacob, George Boggs Rothermel, Martha Catherine Rothermel Ohmit, Harry H, and Mollie Maud Rothermel Clee. She had 3 siblings Peter S., Ann Margaret Boggs Axe, and Aaron J.
