Biography

Lewis was born in 1843. He was the son of Joseph Bogue and Nancy Asher. He had Civil War service in the 130th Indiana Infantry.

He was a guardian to his brother Thomas Bogue's (KIA in 1861) minor children from his first marriage on pension documents.

He married Mary Melissa Louder 28 Dec 1873 in Kokomo IN.[1][2] They had the following children, per FamilySearch:
