Daughters of the American Revolution
William Bohannon is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A011792.

"The parents of William Bohannon are not known. There is much speculation but nobody has proven conclusively who his mother and father were. We anxiously await such proof. He married Ruth about 1752 in Virginia and had eight children. He then married Judith Legge? about 1773 in Virginia and had ten children. It is believed that his second wife is buried beside him. It is also believed that the land where his grave lies was his land in life."[1]
