Biography

Wiley Harrison Bohanon was born on September 30, 1814 in North Carolina, United States, son of Elliott S. Bohannon (1784–1850) and Sarah Jane Yates (1760–1840). Wiley Bohannon married Lettice Yates. 04 Jul 1837 in Rush Co, Indiana. [1] In the 1850 census Wesley Bohannon (age 32) was in Boone, Indiana, United States.[2] In the 1860 census Wiley Bohannon (age 45) was in Worth Township, Boone, Indiana, United States.[3] In the 1870 census Wiley Bohannon (age 55) was the head of household in Worth Township, Boone, Indiana, United States.[4] Wiley (58) married Phebe Frances Kinnaman (24) (born on April 11, 1849 in Indiana) on August 10, 1873 in Boone. In the 1880 census Wiley Boheman (age 65), farmer, was the married head of household in Worth Township, Boone, Indiana, United States.[5] In the 1900 census Wiley H Bohannon (age 86) was the widowed father-in-law of James S Mantooth in Clinton Township, Boone, Indiana, United States.[6] Wiley H Bohanon died (age 90 yr) on 1 Dec 1904 in Boone County, Indiana.[7] He was buried in Lebanon, Boone, Indiana, United States.[8]
