Faye Bohls Raschke passed away July 24, 2004. She was born July 24, 1922, in Pflugerville, Texas, to Emil and Julia Pfluger Bohls. She graduated from the University of Texas School of Nursing, at Galveston and was a clinical R.N. at Brackenridge Hospital and the Austin State Hospital for over 35 years. She loved attending her grandchildrens sporting events, playing canasta, fishing, working in her flowerbeds and visiting with friends and family. Faye was the happiest when she was helping others. She was a member of the Heart of Texas Orchid Society, Violet Crown Gardening Club and founding member of Messiah Lutheran Church. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Raschke; four brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Fritsch and husband, Darrell of Round Rock; grandchildren, Craig and Claire Fritsch; one brother, Emil Bohls of Pflugerville; brother-in-law, Raymond Raschke and wife, Elda of Austin; brother-in-law, Allen Christenson of Spicewood; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, July 29, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to be made to Palm Valley Lutheran Church, Round Rock, Texas.
