Jill Diane Weddington, 63, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 16, 2017. She was born on August 20, 1954 to Louis and Marcia (Heft) Bohn of Napoleon. Jill was a 1972 graduate of Napoleon High School. She married Tom Weddington in June of 1977 and he survives. Jill was a life-long member of Florida United Methodist Church and was also a member of the American Legion Post #300 Auxiliary, Sauder Village, and the Scraps to Squares Quilting Group at Sauder Village. In past years, she also volunteered at Henry County Hospital. Jill loved to quilt and was a wonderful cook. She and Tom travelled extensively throughout the United States. But most of all, Jill loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandson Eli.
Jill is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tom Weddington; her mother, Marcia Bohn; children, Laura Weddington, Justin (Elizabeth) Weddington, and Brooke Weddington; grandson Elias Buchhop; sisters, Jan (Bill) Morey, Jenny Bohn-Dangler, and Alice (John) Rickenberg; brothers, Roger (Kathy) Bohn, Tim Bohn, and Tommy (Tina) Bohn. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Bohn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Walker-Hoening Mortuary, 333 West Main Street, Napoleon. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, December 20th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 12:00 p.m. at Walker-Hoening Mortuary. Pastor Myung Ji Cho of Florida United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
