Biography

Marie Boisvert was born and baptized on 1 Nov 1811 in Saint-Léon-le-Grand parish. She was the daughter of Joseph Boisvert, farmer, and his wife Marguerite Arvisais. Godparents at Marie's baptism were her cousin François Boisvert and Euphrosine Arnault dite Villeneuve. At age 14 Marie married Calixte Grenier on 26 Feb 1832 in Saint-Léon-le-Grand parish. There are records for three children born into this marriage. Marie died at age 75 on 15 Oct 1892; she was buried three days later in Saint-Léon-le-Grand parish cemetery.
